RESEARCH
 

Integrated research activity has been initiated in many different areas. The University has major research projects undertaken in the areas of

• Anticancer drugs, Enzymology, Protein Chemistry, Plant biochemistry and Tissue Culture, Agri microbiology.
• Environmental biology, Biodiversity, Cytogenetics, Genotoxicology and Ecotoxicology,
• Biodiversity, in vitro studies on Medicinal plants, Indian Honey bees and Chromosome damage and DNA repair.agri microbiology.
• Habitat ecology, Ecotoxicology, Environmental impact assessment, Hydrobiology, Biodiversity of local bio-resources and Planktonology.
   

Eligibility:
 

1.  Post Graduation with at least 50% marks in the relevant discipline.      

2.  Inter-disciplinary proposals are also welcome.
 

Foreign students
 

Students with min of 50% marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible for admission.

• The selection will be on the basis of qualifications, research proposal, written test and personal Interview.
• This is a self financing research programme.
